The fishing continues to be good here on Lake Okeechobee with bass showing up in the eel grass on the shoal and on the west side of Kramer Island. Boy did the wind blow on Lake Okeechobee today. I fished with a client on the shoal and caught bass on Zara Spooks, Senkos, and the all new Azuma Wake Bait in bluegill pattern. The new line of Azuma baits are awesome and the patterns and finishes are second to none. You can contact me if interested in putting these baits in your shop. The wind is still blowing here on the Big Lake but the fish are biting on both wild shiners and artificial lures. As the sugar farmers continue to pull the water from the lake the lake water level is still dropping and the bass have moved to the outside grass like the eel grass beds that are everywhere. There are a lot of fish to catch on Okeechobee you just have to find them. The bluegill are starting to bite and should only get better as we go into the month of April.... Read More
WOW did the wind blow on the big lake today. It was tough to fish but we did manage to catch a few bass today. The wind is suppose to blow tomorrow and the rest of the week.
