I will be fishing the flw American Fishing Series tournament this week on Lake Okeechobee. I have a couple real good areas that the spawning bass have moved into, I just hope this cold front we have moving into the area does not turn the fishing off too much. Some of my key items to get the job done this week will be my U.S. Reels, Deep South Rods, Diamond Braided line and of course my Power-Pole. I will be looking for a five bass limit weighing around twenty pounds to make the cut for Saturday.... Read More

Going to go check my spawning fish on the south lake tomorrow and than get ready for the first day Thursday. A good friend of mine from Ohio Greg Knicks just got to the motel, he is fishing the co-angler side of the tournament. Will write more tomorrow. Mark_King... Read More

I heard that there was a bad boat accident on Okeechobee this morning and one of our guides Terry Garrels was injured very badly. Our prayers go out to Capt. Terry a... Read More
CLEWISTON, Fla. – After catching the biggest limit on day one of the Lake Okeechobee Stren Series event weighing 24 pounds, 3 ounces, Kevin Long of Clewiston, Fla., refused to relinquish his lead over the next two days to win the Southeastern Division Opener with a three-day total of 49 pounds, 14 ounces. “I’ve been dreaming about this since I was 12 years old,” said Long, who guides on Okeechobee during the winter. “As you get older you start to wonder if a win is ever going...
